The sound quality is good enough to use as a bathroom speaker. It has enough bass that the music isn't flat/tinny and I can still hear the music through the shower noise. The bass is probably not loud enough to annoy someone in the next room? I'm not a big fan of control buttons (used when connected via Bluetooth). They seem cheap and I feel like I'm trying too hard to get an answer that they should work/change. Also, I had to turn this speaker on and off again to actually establish a Bluetooth connection. and this connection will be broken if you move the MP3 player more than a few feet away from the speaker. However, connecting the speaker directly to an MP3 player via cable works great and the control is through the MP3 player instead. Haven't tried pairing/connecting my phone yet, so. Much luck! If I wanted to use this speaker for bluetooth/portable use: I would probably hate it. I would probably return this speaker even if it wasn't a free promotional item. Who is giving them back? Battery life could be better. According to other reviews: The USB plug for the charging cable will eventually fall out of the socket and become unusable. As such I plan to keep this speaker permanently on the bathroom shelf with the cord dangling/connected and ready to be charged to avoid damaging this item. I think the price of this speaker is way too high compared to what you can buy at Revain (or Walmart). Most importantly, you are not buying this speaker from anyone but Bombay Electronics. They are dodgy bait and surrogate sellers who tried to scam me by sending me an item they are actually selling for $10 less than I ordered (plus a threat of a restocking fee if you open the item , before noticing their discrepancy in what they sent you and that you ordered)
