As I said, I'm sorry I didn't listen to all the other reviewers here. I bought these mirrors because they were a lot cheaper, easier to remove and less ugly than installing the correct set of folding mirrors on my truck. But, as the axiom says: the price is forgotten, but the quality remains. These mirrors are undeniably of high build quality, the fit and finish is superb. They look like they could be factory installed if they are on your truck. But unfortunately, their value ends here. They provide exactly ZERO additional rear visibility when towing. Not only are mirrors non-convex, they are also difficult to position, and even when positioned optimally, the viewing angle is small and almost useless. Add to that the gap between the "extension" and the factory mirror glass is very thick and very annoying and you can see why I decided to return it. They just added width to my truck, one more thing to haul with the already full cab, and a distraction on the road, all out of sight. I'm sorry people. Great idea, solid construction, but totally flawed implementation. I could even forgive the lack of power adjustment considering it's a snap-on design, but the glass needs to be tuned quite differently to be of any value.
