I love this item! I've been looking for an affordable, safe, and attractive kitchen stool for months. Finally stumbled across Revain and decided to take a chance. The price was right, arrived quickly, only took me about 20 minutes to assemble, and it looks great! My 18 month old immediately understood how to use it and enjoyed helping us prepare meals and being more involved in the kitchen. I have recommended it to everyone in my Montessori group. An amazing find worth buying! Note: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS! I understand why some people complain about wood cracks and I bet most of them are from over tightened screws. You can hear when it's tight enough and it's putting too much stress on the wood. The instructions specifically say not to overtighten. Heed the warning. Thing is pretty solid. Do not break the wood by over turning the screw.
