Review on Anyoo Waterproof Raincoat Lightweight Activities Women's Clothing by Luca Washington

NOT light at all

I wanted a reusable poncho because when I travel I usually use these sheer "emergency" ponchos. They work well and cover my backpack, head and torso. But they don't cover my arms or my legs. I thought maybe I could get something that covers more and is less likely to tear for my next hike. also had long sleeves and covered almost my entire body. The weight wasn't listed anywhere in the description so I relied on the review/Q&A which said that although the description says 1.8lbs it's actually only 0.8lbs. And while .8 is still a bit heavy for a poncho, I know there's a lot of rain so I thought it was worth it. I ordered this and a duvet cover. It's supposed to be raining and cold, and in the summer I mostly walk, so I need a new outfit at short notice. They both arrived at the same time. To be honest I thought the backpack with this poncho would be my bottom blanket and vice versa because the poncho was much heavier. I immediately weighed the poncho and it was 1 lb 14 oz. It is absolutely NOT easy. It's more than my blanket, my raincoat, my sleeping pad and, frankly, most of the things in my backpack. Everything for a supposedly "simple” poncho? nope It's being returned and I'm sticking with my disposable clear ponchos. Some weight just isn't worth it. I'm sure it would be great to work on a lighthouse or something, but that's not comfortable for hikers, and I'm technically a heavyweight hiker at 30-40 pounds, including food and water.
