Serves its purpose. I bought a tank with a 2.5 gallon top fin filter. My two female Bettas live in a house together and I change the water every other day. The filter that comes with this tank is slow moving and it is almost impossible to find a properly sized replacement filter online. So I ordered it as a spare just in case and just checked the next day to see when the water in my tank ran clear. I left the original tap filter on the other side for a small waterfall. But Hygger does all the work. I will order more. There are two extra filters in the kit that I will change tomorrow.
