Device works right out of your pocket
This little device works as soon as you plug it into a USB port. My audio jack in my new Dell was not working. This device fixed this problem by giving me a working audio jack. One caveat: make sure you connect your headset to this device first, and then to your computer's USB port. Do not connect the device to USB first and then connect the headset. USB does not recognize the headset in the second method.
