I don't know what's going on with these shoes. may have straps. but they remind me a bit of the futuristic sneakers from Back to the Future. They look really great and my teenage son loves them. He dislikes tying his shoelaces, and while they do have laces, they don't need to be tied and untied to put them on. I'm not sure how long they will last, so I'll update the information a bit later. Very happy with these so far!
