Review on Sara Happ Lets Scrub Shine: Achieve Radiant and Smooth Lips by Heather Martin

I've heard good things about Sara Happ lip products so I thought this set would be a great way to try two of her products at the same time. When I opened my brown sugar lip scrub I found it had separated, so there was brown sugar and a whitish-grey substance that I assume was petroleum jelly and/or oil. I applied a little anyway to capture a bit of both, but they were a bit dry so I really had to massage them in or they just fell off because there wasn't enough moisture to keep them on my lips. In fact, I almost prefer this texture because I've used brown sugar scrubs before (as a face scrub) and they usually "melt" quickly, leaving a small window for a manual scrub. Based on other reviews I've read it seems like this product should have done it and of course it's a lot softer. I don't plan on using it on my face, but I'm in the St. Ives days, before physical exfoliation was considered harmful to potential micro-cracks, so I'll admit that I appreciate a good, long-lasting exfoliator. from time to time and that's what this product has given me. I have to say my lips were a bit numb afterwards, which of course isn't ideal, but there was no redness/irritation/dryness and my lips were very soft and ready for the next step, the lip slip! I believe The Lip Slip is one of Sarah Hupp's signature products, so I was surprised that it's somewhat similar to the lip gloss I used in Jr. high. Light pink and very shiny, I gave it a try thinking it would probably be another hyped product but WOW this stuff really gives my lips long lasting hydration! The gloss is quite thick so you have to squeeze it a bit because it spreads through a small opening, but I think it helps prevent over-application, which is good because it's sticky and sticky on the surface of your lips stays on, so too much can be sticky and force it to go past your lips. Some products that you put on and don't feel/notice afterwards are not included. You'll know exactly what's on your lips. While I don't like the feel of the product on my lips, I think that's one of the reasons it's so moisturizing. When first applied in the evening and in the morning, it was still noticeably "shiny". A few hours later, after eating and drinking, it subsided but still remained somewhat shiny. I used it as a primer, and thanks to it, the lipstick lays down evenly and "sticks” to the lips better. I also like to use it alone for a mlbb effect, especially after using a lip scrub which helps "pink" my lips. Even though it looks very shiny in the tube, after application it just looks like a shiny gloss. two products, because the bundle is cheaper than buying both products individually. I probably wouldn't buy a lip scrub on its own as mine didn't arrive in good condition which makes me concerned about its freshness and longevity. I could try mixing mine to incorporate the ingredients back in, but I don't have to. While it ended up giving good results, I also think it's too easy to justify its price - brown sugar, which is easy to find and affordable, is the main ingredient that does most of the work, so you probably could "Brown" Google Sugar Lip Scrub Recipe" online and find one that works just as well. For people who prefer ready-made products, there are sure to be cheaper but still effective.
