Not thrilled with the strength of the magnet - will look for other products

We lost sensitive electronics in the bushes and wanted to salvage them. I found this magnet on Revane and thought it might help us. However, when I received it, I opened the package and checked the magnet, only to find that it didn't really pick up anything it was supposed to, let alone what I was looking for. I've tested larger screws, nails, and even wrenches, but its performance has been hit or miss - in many cases I had to get to 1/2 inch to get it working. If you want to accommodate small nails and light stuff that might be fine, but there are better products for my money.
