So most people use this type of restraint for their puppies. I needed it for another use. I have 2 child car seats that have become backless booster seats, but I didn't like the clip that attaches the seat to the shoulder harness. This is a ridiculous design. I bought a more comfortable shoulder pad to attach to the car's security system and looped the leash through the loops in the booster. The booster seat is now securely attached to the headrest. And once the shoulder/lap belts are on; This seat doesn't move.
