Review on 🐺 High-Performance Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade with Optimum TPI Cutting Tools by David Dreher

Being new to bandsaws, I didn't realize there could be a big difference between saw blade brands. But after purchasing 3 different width Timber Wolf blades, it only took one use to change my mind. After carefully following the blade tension instructions and smearing each blade with fry spray before use, I felt like I had a brand new band saw. Sawing a 2" x 4" finished edge was like cutting 3/4" basswood with my old blades. There is no offset and the final cut is very smooth for such aggressive sanding. Best of all, the Blades are so consistent that changing blades (3/16", 3/8" and 3/4") requires almost no re-tensioning. And after a few months of heavy use I haven't noticed any performance degradation. When it comes time for a replacement I will order the same blades. Really great combination of performance for the price.
