The packaging on the 500 box seemed simple. The lights were rolled up and held together with large ties. Once the zip ties were removed, I was able to put them in pretty quickly and easily with no issues. Before deploying, I plugged them in to make sure they worked and cycled through a few options with the button on the connector. After decorating the tree with these, I began going through the various settings on the remote control. One of the reasons for purchasing these lights was the SLO-GLO option for white and multicolor light. The SLO-GLO option doesn't work at all unless you want your living room to look like a club at 2am. This is an incredibly fast blink, not a SLO-GLO. Hopefully one of the manufacturers can respond to this or any of the other feedback stating the same issue with the SLO-GLO function.
