We love this crib! Sewing was very easy for my husband. Our little one isn't ready for a full size crib yet so at the age of 4 months we moved him from the crib to this mini crib while he was still in our bedroom. The cot is compact and fits snugly in our large double bed. The wheels make it portable and easy to move. It is currently in the up position and will come down when our son is a bit older. As other reviewers have pointed out, the 1 inch mattress topper that comes with the crib is useless to say the least, but I don't think that should detract from the quality of the crib. Delta recommends a 2-inch mattress for mini-beds, which aren't very common. If anyone needs a recommendation I have personally purchased the 2" LA Baby 2 mattress which fits this crib perfectly and is a great value. Please note that we purchased the gray color and it is from the There was a slight smell of paint in the packaging but this quickly dissipated after a few days and to be expected the wood is varnished which isn't a big deal Overall a quality bed!
