Absolutely adorable pattern. Ridiculous and impractical washing instructions for every baby bedding! When we received this 100% cotton sheet, the original linen instructions were to wash in cold, gentle water and use vinegar to set the dye and fabric. This was a wake up call for me but I took the plunge and tried and despite following all washing instructions and not putting the clothes in the dryer some of the color washed out of the fabric completely leaving white streaks on the sheet . So first. , requiring the customer to put the vinegar paint on the bedding is not suitable. Second, when the washing instructions say hand wash or machine wash cold on gentle and line dry for toddler or baby bedding, I don't think it's practical at all! Children often crash on bed linen in the bathroom, and this bed linen must be strong enough to be properly cleaned and disinfected. Machine wash in warm water, even tumble dry I can understand. Again, the pattern is really cute, it's not soft cotton at all, and I can't imagine having to wash it in cold water and line dry for the fabric to ever soften. I'm usually opposed to using microfiber for baby bedding as it tends to get hot and hold odors, but in this case another company's version of this microfiber is much more durable. I was so disappointed because I wanted to love it and the pattern is absolutely gorgeous.
