Waste of money. What a disappointment. Bought this as a Christmas present for my 4 year old. SHE CAN OWN MY MACHINE FOR $300 so I wanted to give her her own machine so she can sew while I sew rather than man my machine when I get to the surface (it's cute and she wants to be part of the process , eh she's a genius at it, so she has more power.) This machine sews. Like. with bad voltage. But the instructions are 3 pages in each language with very little information. Very difficult to thread, difficult to hook the bobbin (it doesn't have the bobbin thread gap pictured in the Revain guide which should help with this process), no bobbin loading info, NO REVERSE OPTION, no thread tension info, no info on removing the bobbin pin (you just have to turn the machine turn it sideways and pull) there is no information on how to replace the needle. -sink-recycle noisy. The on/off button actually lets the car run without depressing the pedal, which is terrible. What looks like a power button is actually a terrible joke. The only way for another sane person to "turn off" a sewing machine is to unplug it. The fact that the ON switch just lets the machine run independently without pressing the pedal is TERRIBLE. It's not what "on/off" means. The FOOT pedal does not reach the FLOOR (where the feet are). um what? I think it's meant for manual control, but you have to press it in a certain grumpy corner to bring the car to life. It hits me every time. Like a pressure-activated fingerstick, but almost less comfortable. The power cord is also VERY short. Don't buy it without an extension cord (if you're still stubborn enough to buy it, just to confirm my first-hand experience). If I can find an actual sewing machine for the same price (it's not the equivalent of a jack in a box of needles), I'll have to figure out how to rip the purple (her favorite color) machine off of it and hope the Christmas present doesn't bring tears and tantrums.
