If you don't care about your health, you are welcome to buy these cheap filters. I've been using my Kenmore humidifier for many years and never had a problem until I started using these filters. Today I decided to change the filters, since even after increasing the fan speed, the humidity did not increase, and the water flow was very low. When I took out the filters I was shocked and immediately replaced them. Even though I use an antibacterial solution with every fill, these filters were black with mold!
