For years trash cans stink and larvae breed in them. Try as we might, it was a mess. After the maggots in the glasses after the party we had in the backyard, that was it for me. I know trash cans aren't supposed to smell like roses, but I figured there HAD to be a better way. We've been using them for about 2 months now and I haven't had any issues with maggots/funk in glasses. This is extra protection as garbage bags sometimes leak or burst. My glasses stay clean and odor free. It's not cheap, but it's not worth the time if you're being sent on a maggot patrol.
