Review on Aqara Security Camera: HomeKit Secure Video Indoor Camera with Night Vision and Two-Way Audio by Chris Wilson

I've installed about 7-8 Wyze cameras around the house over the past few years, this is clearly aimed at people like me who want a 'cheap' camera, but they did what they couldn't do wyze, integrated with Apple HomeKit. For this reason alone, I see myself switching all my Wyze cameras to this brand. I have experience with a few other Aqara products and so far have really enjoyed them. I've only used this camera with HomeKit so I can't tell you how the Aqara app is, but it seems to connect just as easily as any other HomeKit product I've used. I know this camera has a built in hub but I would like to connect it to the Aqara hub I already have rather than using Apple's method of connecting the device. So compared to the Wyze camera I work with it seems like a 1 for 1 replacement, the clarity could be a little better with this one but not enough to write home. I think Wyze spent more time than Apple on the camera functionality and the initial setup (part of HomeKit) was a bit annoying as I turned off certain notifications but HomeKit kept sending them anyway. But once everything was set up, there were no complaints. I really think the Aqara guys looked at Wyze's answers as the only thing I had to change was the camera. Unfold the camera mount - check the magnet in the mount. Power supply - check the size - very close (but the rounded top is a bit annoying). Power supply, SD slot. again and again. no matter. So it depends on how much you want to integrate with HomeKit as you can buy almost 3 Wyze cameras for the price of one. Haven't had any issues so far, but I'll be running a few more weeks and then adding a few more. If they lowered the price to $50, which is only twice the price of the Wyze Cam, I think it would be easy for them.
