A great addition that makes Cardinal's excellent security gate (both indoor and outdoor) suitable for openings larger than 42.5 inches, but the internal gate hardware is not stainless steel. The extensions have stainless steel hardware for the brown only You can use the brown extension with black or white gates, purchase a set of stainless steel fixings (3 bolts + 3 washers) to replace what is included in the box or these parts at your local Hardware store can be bought for about $2.00 a cent just to upgrade these parts in all extensions.
- SS-30 doors expand from 27" to 42.5". Add a 10.5" extension to this gate and the max width is 53".
