Great little fan. 3 fan speeds, 3 light levels, lasts long, light enough for camping without taking down the tent. Favorite feature is the ability to charge. Connected to a suitable solar panel with a USB port, it lasted a weekend of near-constant use (at low to medium fan speeds). Unless you have very bad eyesight (bring a headlamp) there is more than enough light for a 2-3 person tent. Can be easily read at night when within reach. The battery is heavy enough to keep it stable without being a boat anchor. There are other fans on the Revain that are smaller, bigger, lighter, brighter, etc. This device was the perfect balance for my use, you should shop accordingly. Bright lights seem like a great camping idea - until the bugs decide it's a party invite and they call their friends and they all get a jet stream right in your face. If someone made a fan assembly with amber LEDs, the problem might be less. I used it to cool down (me and) a ham radio while camping a few weeks ago, it worked great. The air temp was around 75°F/23°C in the shade, I turned this fan on at medium speed and draped a light towel over the headset and battery so I could sit back and listen. No more heat issues, no noticeable EMI if it wasn't right next to the antenna connector. While working, feeling the refreshing anti-mosquito breeze and keeping my gear cool was a unique pleasure. This would be a great addition to a field day or using POTA, even SOTA if you're feeling strong that day.
