They are independent for audio playback but only one headphone can be used for calls. For its size, the battery life (4.5 hours) is very weak compared to other adapters of a similar size (or even smaller). The functionality of the buttons is severely limited, and the position and shape are very unintuitive (and uncomfortable). Sound bottom compared to other adapters like the TRN or Fiio version (same manufacturer) but unfortunately they are half the price and offer a much better usability and experience. Adapters are unstable relative to the back end and are heavy (as if it were a large dough plug). They only connect with corrugated wire mesh, which in turn causes the adapters to dangle when you turn your head. This, in turn, also causes the headphones to become loose in the ears, making for a lot of fatigue if you can stand them at all for a paltry 4.5 hours of playtime. was cheap and incredibly bulky. It is as if they only intend to use the portable battery at home.
