I didn't expect this umbrella to be of the highest quality, but I did expect their quality control department to reject the torn lining. Is a return worth it? Maybe, maybe not. This will not affect the quality of the lighting of the object, but it is also wrong. If this umbrella passed the test, what else did you miss? If this glider didn't have a defect I would give it 4 points just for the price and not for the build quality. These are thin umbrellas. I suggest leaving them open once you've opened them. They will not withstand repeated open/close cycles. They are opaque and I can confirm they reflect a lot of light compared to a white translucent umbrella. The light is a bit harsh, so I don't recommend them for portraits.
