Sometimes you don't need top quality umbrellas so this is a good value for money double layer umbrella set. I've been using mine for a few months now and they're holding up well. I often use them as a travel umbrella set for product photography etc and the only issue I have is that the locking mechanism is a little fiddly to lock and a bit sticky to unlock.

LimoStudio does good and this is another example. First class workmanship, excellent fit and finish. With a silver reflective surface you will get a slightly harder/clearer light than with a white interior which is reflective or translucent. I mostly use them for product photography.

Umbrella works well as described. What worries me is that it doesn't have the classic velcro strap I've ever had, nor a sleeve to hold it like most umbrellas, except for the clear plastic sleeve. . came in this crack on the first day. I think you get what you pay for.

Umbrellas themselves are good if they are cheaply made. It remains to be seen how well they hold up over time. I took off the stars because they arrived. Each of them was encased in a fairly standard plastic case. The two sleeved umbrellas were then tightly sealed with transparent packing tape. Separating the taped screens and then removing the tape left a lot of very sticky marks on the outside of the cases. This makes it impractical to use umbrella covers.

I didn't expect this umbrella to be of the highest quality, but I did expect their quality control department to reject the torn lining. Is a return worth it? Maybe, maybe not. This will not affect the quality of the lighting of the object, but it is also wrong. If this umbrella passed the test, what else did you miss?
