This stuff is AMAZING! He cooks the best chicken, you poke the chicken and it squirts juice everywhere. Even if I accidentally overcooked it to a higher temperature (180 degrees). I was sure the chicken would be spoiled in the process and it just had a very crispy skin. So great. Whole chickens or thighs/legs alone or chicken quarters, they all come out amazingly well. No fryer smoke from an oven or traditional convection oven. I'm so confident that I'm actually testing the preparation of a frozen filet mignon right now. Cooked quickly for professionals, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. No smoke, no fat splashes. Easy cleaning, just pour out the grease and wash the bowl in the sink with soap or throw it in the dishwasher if needed. The only downsides I've found are that the rack grilles could be a little "tougher". I had a broken weld on the high brace, although the seller immediately requested a replacement, I am now just waiting to receive it. I will look around for alternative stands. Also, the glass bowl can be a little slippery to clean, but it's MUCH better than the plastic used in some convection ovens. This shell will never melt.
