great for my daughter. Made from foam and not plastic or rubber like most cases. Nice and light and I hope it protects the HD 8 from baby bumps now that they have both 7" and 8" tablets. I got her a Fire 7 when she was about 18 months old as a cheap pill if she breaks it. And let me tell you, the Fire 7 has held up amazingly well. It took a little time to set it up properly for her so she could only use the apps that were meant for her, but there's plenty of guides for this amazingly versatile line of devices, giving me the perfect learning machine for her age. It can do videos and watch pbs. The thing is thick enough at the corners and front to protect the most vulnerable spots in the event of a fall, and it even comes with a wrist strap. Looks strong yet light.
