used them to pack work clothes; T-shirts and tactical cargo pants that are quite bulky when folded. managed to fit 3 pants (women's size 2) and about 5 shirts in one cube. Probably could have fit more if I had separated pants and shirt by the sides, but my OCD wouldn't let me. At first I thought the compression wasn't that great until after they got worn and dirty I put them in a different bag and realized there was a difference. I also like the flap under the zipper so it doesn't close the clothes. although I'm not sure why they are different on both sides (one side has a flexible plastic flap and the other seems to be part of a fabric or zipper)
