I am currently in week 6 of a 3 month world trip and have been relying heavily on these packing cubes to keep things organized for the past 6 weeks. The advantages are obvious: 1. It helps you pack more things into a small space (note that the weight still increases), 2. It allows you to categorize your stuff and separate the clean from the dirty , 3. It is easy to carry, organize and fold clothes. 4. Your shirts and pants stay (for the most part) folded and wrinkle-free.

Packing cubes just work. I've had many different brands and sizes etc. Not only are they good because like many other models you can separate clean clothes from dirty clothes, they also zip up after filling. They are definitely worth a bit more money. The two large ones fit perfectly in the hand luggage roll on board. Be careful when zipping up for compression to avoid snagging on the balaclava. I bought a set of 4 large and 1 medium hoping to pack a nice bag for the weekend. They were the wrong size for the purpose and I had to send them back. But I really want my bag to match them. They are incredibly well made. Materials and construction are the same as high-quality jackets, tents and backpacks. These bricks do a lot of things right - reversible single mesh is fantastic and the shrink feature almost doubles my packing space. I wish there were different colors on the outside so I can tell the difference between the dice at a glance, but my main gripe is the compression zippers. These are great compression cubes. I originally bought these because I thought it sounded cool to be able to share dirty clothes. Oddly enough, I don't use this feature at all. I'm worried that the clothes won't be able to breathe because that side of the cube is waterproof, which will lead to bacterial growth. It would be nice if you had to pack wet clothes like a wet bathing suit, but if you had to store dirty or wet clothes for a week it would be ugly. I use a large pack cube for the weekend

UPDATE: I was in Europe for a week and thanks to these cubes I was able to pack everything by hand. No waiting for checked baggage! I actually only used 2 of the 3 large cubes and took them with me when I went shopping. The small packaging cube was perfect for underwear and separate storage.
