I purchased this for my Siberian Huskie and it's hilarious watching her interact with this hamster. The microphone seems to pick up most noise and repeat it back to her, but at a high-pitched, sped up note. That being said, the microphone is finicky. Sometimes our dog will bark or howl and the Hamster doesn't say a thing. Then she'll bark again, and the hamster will bark back. It's funny to watch this go on and on. When we turn it off, we'll put the hamster away and our Husky does will not leave it alone. She just wants to stand there and stare at it, waiting for it to make the killer move she so anticipates.
