Review on 🥛 Tribest SB-132 Soyabella: Large Automatic Soy Milk Maker Machine & Tofu Kit by Jody Grimmett

Revainrating 1 out of 5

No lighter than a milk carton!

Second editing:; I edited back to a star. He died less than thirty days later. Tribest's policy is yes, this is covered for two years, but the buyer must pay for return shipping. Revine offered a replacement but after 30 days I'm on my own. I really liked what this machine could do with shredding and raw nut milk, but the quality of production wasn't there and the Tribest warranty coverage. Unsatisfactory. It's boxed and going back to Revane, and I need to find a new milk machine. And I don't have a big flaxseed mill. Terribly disappointing. Forward. Edited to add: I am reviewing my rating from one star to three stars. The nut milk functions in this machine as well as the grinder are really excellent. I wish the function of soy milk was simpler, i.e. the basket wouldn't clog up with protein so quickly and easily. The time it takes to empty a basket of soy proteins is insane. But the nut milk that comes out is phenomenal - actually better than the handmade nut milk I've been making for years and quit to waste time. If you use cold water, you can prepare cold raw nut milk in less than 2 minutes (not including soaking time). I also use a coffee grinder for dried olives, herbs and flaxseed. Much easier than using Vitamix or Cuisanart - super convenient, super easy, super fast. I'm still disappointed that I won't be making soy milk with this particular machine, but the other features work well. I have it less than a week. I just loved it. My soy milk was DIVINE. Baked some amazing okara treats. Second day home, even after the little handle on the soy milk basket broke, I still love it. No big deal, still works and Tribest is sending me a new one. Here's the thing - the screen can't be properly cleaned, no scrubbing, soaking or anything else can remove protein buildup. I followed the instructions and emptied the trash immediately after use. I noticed the soy milk was weakening, thought I was doing something wrong, and today I essentially did whitewater. How are you? The screen was completely clogged in LESS THAN ONE WEEK. I've cleaned, soaked, and now I'm thinking about cooking, but I don't want to let the stuff cook anymore. It's no lighter than a milk carton. Completely disappointed. Makes great nut milks, but I wanted soy milk and okara for baking. I have 10 pounds of organic soybeans that I think will last me a few years as there is a good chance I will have to go back. Complete disappointment. I'm trying out baking soda and vinegar right now - as much as I love this machine and have scrupulously cleaned it after each use, it's insane. Insanity!
