Great little mocha pot!

First of all, disclaimer: I've never owned or used a Bialetti moka coffee pot, so I can't compare this (cheaper but well made) kettle to this one. Also, I did NOT get this pan for free or anything like that. After reading an article on the best way to make Italian-style espresso, with moka pots at the top of the list, I decided to take the plunge with this little pot. And yes, the taste is worth it! Make sure you get freshly roasted whole beans though, and use a burr grinder (I have a small hand grinder here at Revain for a very reasonable amount and it works well too) - fresh beans enhance the flavor. even more! Company props - the first pot that shipped had a small defect in the silicone gasket that runs between the top and bottom and steam was escaping in the middle. I contacted them about a gasket change and they (immediately) sent a brand new cup instead - and it's not leaking. The end result is a well-made little moka cup that can make a great little cup of very tasty espresso. If you've been thinking about a mocha pot but have been put off by the cost of the 'original' then this is a wonderful and affordable alternative, backed by a company that is justifiably proud of their product. Just buy it!
