They arrived quickly and are really clear plastic individual cupcake boxes. There is a big 'Made in China' label on the packaging which made me doubt my choice but didn't have time to order another variety so I hope they are non-toxic! They are solidly built and a bit difficult to take apart. All in one piece, the bottom is a round box with a hinge loop in the middle, and the top is domed. The closure is a compressed bladder at two corners. The back and clasp were very flimsy and we had a hard time keeping some of them closed as the latch kinda collapsed on the first press! I solved this problem by using a small piece of tape between the latches. They served my purpose of being able to give out individually wrapped cupcakes to neighbors, but when they're gone I'll probably opt for cardboard or other plastic containers next time.
