This box looked flimsy when it arrived, but underneath the wrapping paper it's cardboard. Cardboard, while not as thick as a moving box, is about as thick as wine containers available at grocery stores. I will support it from below when wearing it. The method of folding the box is not obvious, but instructions are included. There aren't many steps here, which makes it pretty easy. Tissue paper, bow and tag are also included in the gift box. The packaging was not torn when I assembled the box. This box is large enough for a man's shirt when folded. I love that the box can be folded back up for storage and reuse. This makes this type of packaging simple and economical.
