At first glance, 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer for such a price is complete garbage. So I did what most online shoppers do and read the reviews and I'm glad I did. Some people like the product, some hate it. I figured that worst case scenario, I could still return them. I was skeptical as 95% of all the speakers I saw cost at least $800 or more! I ordered speakers; The package arrived, I checked the quality and finish of each speaker and was impressed. Then I tested the center speaker and was thrilled! By that point, I already knew the surround sound system would be at least decent. Judging by the reviews, almost everyone recommends a thicker section of speaker wire and a subwoofer. I ordered 16 gauge speaker wire and ran it through the basement. I ordered a 10" Polk Sonic subwoofer and I'm glad I did. The subwoofer that came with it isn't connected to a power source, so it lacks the bass needed to complete this package.
