This Yosmart company with the Lora technology is truly the best home automation technology I have seen in many years and as computer hardware engineer for 15 years and trust me, I have seen them alll . I purchased this siren to provide an audible sound at night to wake me up when ever there is a water leak detected by my Water Leak Sensor. Very easy to set up and connect to my YoLink Hub.

I like the small size and that it can be adjusted to low volume. No problem hearing in all over our small home.For now, I have only configured it to work with the flood sensors. But plan to have it run with other routines when I get some spare time. This is what I needed to insure that I would be alerted, even when asleep. Echo speakers aren't always able to wake me up.

So main drawback won't last long on batteries. Even with alarm disabled it drains battery within 3 to 4 days.Alarm is loud atleast in apartment environment. You probably won't hear it as loud for anything that is from outside to inside. Like your garage to your inside bedroom. However, it does alert me on my phone every time one of the doors the sensors is on is opened and closed. I appreciate that piece of mind greatly! Hi, I first purchased these to alert me when the YoLink leak detectors detected water on the floor. They integrate easily with any YoLink sensor. Window/Door Sensors also. I’m totally blind! The first thing I noticed about this when I took it out of the box. I noticed a switch on the left side of it and that it had a screw hole on the back to mount it on a wall. I next felt around on the back and found the battery cover. I wondered what the slide switch was for being it has 4 point altogether. So I put 2 AA batteries in it and nothing happened. This addon siren lets you know if the Yolink sensors are activated. It's pretty easy to add Best Buy Alexa integration as well. Need to have Yolink hub and sensors to use it.

I really like the YoLink products but engineering really missed the mark on this one. It functions and easily integrates but even on the high volume setting is isn't very loud. I think in a large house you'd barely be able to hear this on the other side. A 9v smoke detector is much louder than this and it is battery powered! This requires a power outlet. I would treat this as more of an "alert" product and not a siren.
