Works for us on my review.
My 11 yr old was always sneaking out of his room at night to watch TV so we purchased this alarm to wake us up if he opens his door. It works great. It tells us when the alarm has been tampered with and tells us if the base alarm has been turned off. It also sends notifications to our phones.
