Gifted to sons. For the price it was a real bargain. The pieces are much smaller than other wood block sets we have purchased. Also, compared to previously purchased kits (famous kids brand), these blocks are sharper, rougher and not polished enough to make them smooth. At the same time, my sons really like this set because the blocks have a different shape and look more like a castle. I have included photos of the set you will receive alongside the 16oz coffee mug and blocks in my hand for size reference. Although my sons love this set I wouldn't buy it as a gift for anyone considering what you get for the price.
