I bought and installed this system a few days ago. This is my second consumer system, my last being a 2014 NightOwl. I'm very pleased with how far these things have come in terms of price. Everything worked right out of the box. All cameras synced, internet configuration worked automatically through my home router with no firewall rules or configuration. There are no problems with the radio signal. The EseeCloud app for my Android phone works perfectly. Yeskamo even put a card in my package to choose from three free items (wi-fi extender, free camera, or extended 1-year warranty) that they say they will send me. My only complaint is the quality and design of the power plugs. . They are cheap and budget friendly. The wall mount for the NVR is not offset which means that anyone plugging it into a standard 6 block outlet will either have to plug it in at the end or lose access to 2-3 outlets. Wall transformers and camera cables are also of poor quality. The power cord that connects to the camera's high-quality power cord is very thin and easy to remove. You run the risk of running a power cord connected to the power supply outside. They should be made with more strength. I guess the only other option would be to use a POE port instead, they include solid connector protection which is nice. All in all, this system is GREAT. The combination of wireless cameras + headlights + two-way communication is unique, I could not find any other system that offers this. Everything works as it should. Obtain! Update: Yeskamo sent me a free camera! Very cool to have 5 for the price of 4 - thanks! It also turned out that you can connect to the NVR's IP port from your home network using any browser: WEB, so you can access almost all of the NVR control that you get when you log into the console itself condition. You do not need any additional PC or MAC software for this. This also means you can set up port forwarding on your router/firewall for a remote connection. I still haven't figured out how to view live video or play video over the web, but once you enable superuser on the console for web management, you can make changes to the console's configuration through the browser. On my previous system I had to use the Internet Explorer plugin to watch videos and I think the software base of this provider is the same as my old one, I guess there is an old plugin just for IE. because it's not safe or something. Or you can just use the console, the phone app, or one of the clients instead of watching the video. Surprise. I haven't changed anything, there are many complaints about this in the Android app comments, so it's not just me. I think I'll try the only other option, the YESKAMO app. Too bad the developer doesn't give corrections and doesn't answer emails. It's destroying this great system. Currently changing to 3 stars. Update NOVEMBER 2020: YESKAMO app remains stable, push notifications keep coming. I'm not sure why the developer has 3 different apps and only one works. Really wastes a lot of time just having one app and getting it to work.? Back to 4 stars.
