Sounds nice, but not loud. Works for hours with a bluetooth board like a single 18650. It has a very low input gain. To get it up to full volume, a preamp is absolutely necessary. I replaced it with a blue board with pots. It works better and louder without a preamp. I also replaced the capacitor with the best Nichicon Gold I bought with this board. Note that I have enough signal without a preamp. I put two jumpers on the resistors at the inputs, and I did a little, but a little louder. But still, like the location of the through-holes above the surface mount, it wasn't very noisy from the jack inputs, either with two phones or three pocket MP3 players. Tried a BBE board to boost it but it distorted badly.
