Useless on carpets, almost useless on bare floors. The main head has a roller that won't shut off on a bare floor, but will just fling hard objects (like a small piece of hard dog food) past it. Yes, the bin fills up with dust and lint, but what I try to vacuum usually ends up on the carpet. I really hate loosening everything with my fingers to pick it up. If I wanted to, I would just hand collect the pile and throw it in the trash manually. Very disappointed. After that I will never try a cordless vacuum cleaner again.
