I read many good reviews about it before I bought it. However, I didn't like it for several objective reasons. I think that any accessory these days that requires us to remove our phone cases to use it is unreasonable. Finally, the phones that claim to support them also come in varying thicknesses. So I defiantly tried to use it with a case in my review. It is not possible to accurately align the phone the last time you place it on the controller. This means your shoulder levers are always offset to your on-screen buttons when setting up. Setting up the phone on the controller is a pain. Adjusting the layout of the buttons on the screen is a problem. I had to do this every time before I started playing. Noise: That thing is damn loud. The rattling of the controls bothers everyone around me - Pads: I expected the pad to be a soft hemisphere, like a stylus. Instead I got 4 flat pads. (See photo). This means the pads may not be making enough contact with the screen to activate the button. I've found that I have to press some of the trigger buttons very hard for the pad to register a pressure. I only play with the notch on the left. That means I don't have easy access to the volume up and volume down buttons. When I use the case: - I used the Nomad Leather Case for iPhone 11 Pro Max. There's not much room for thick phones (and cases), so the "tabs" on top of the controller and on either side of the grip didn't stop my phone from falling out - instead they dig into my phone. Case. You can see photos of my phone sitting on the controller. - You can also see how the "tabs" on the controller grips scratched my leather case. I don't blame the manufacturer for this as I went for it after they told me not to use a case but be aware it could happen to you too. What's good is that you can charge your phone while you play.
