Great idea but problems

We often bring bottles of wine or spirits from trips abroad. Gently wrap them in clothes. We haven't had any issues so far, but that's something we always worry about. So this hovercraft wine bag is a great idea. But it's one of those great ideas that's not quite ready for prime time. Since it comes with no instructions, you'll first need to check out the Revain page to learn how to work with it. It's a little tricky to find a hole on the side to put the nozzle of the included air pump. Second, the video on the Revain page shows the bag being filled after a few clicks. nope It takes some time. Third, the really nice thing is that the pillars lock automatically and independently. This way, if a pillar bursts, the rest will remain intact. The reason I think this works is that a crevice in the bag that I filled didn't inflate no matter what I did. Therefore, there may be some quality control issues. Fourth, while my standard sized wine bottles fit perfectly, the extra long bottles don't have the same level of protection. You'd think that the top of the pouch might narrow due to the narrowing of the bottle neck, but that's not the case. Fifth, although these bags are inflatable, you cannot deflate them after inflation. So when you use them on your next trip, carry inflated bags both ways. Sixth, the pump in the kit works but is weak. It fell apart in my hands but I was able to put it back together. Not sure how long that will take. Unfortunately we are unable to use these bags at this time due to Covid still not allowing us to fly on planes. I hope to get a better idea of how they hold up soon.
