Minus 3 stars because the "adjustable" charging voltages and load shedding voltages are not regulated intelligently. For example, the load disconnect voltage range, designed to protect the battery from deep discharge, is adjustable from 9V to 11.5V. 11.5 volts on a flooded lead-acid battery is 100% discharged, meaning damage has already occurred. This is worse with AGM and Gel batteries, which have a higher operating voltage. It confuses me, why would a manufacturer artificially limit the adjustment range beyond the useful range? I'd like to set the cutoff to 12.2v so my battery never goes over 50%, but I can't even do that.
