I've been looking for new toothbrushes for a while and decided on these based on the reviews. So far I've only used it for the "daily cleaning" function, but what a difference! The brush will tell you every 30 seconds that it's time to switch quadrants. Just a little vibrating nudge. About 2-3 weeks after using this toothbrush, I went to the dentist for a biannual cleaning. I used to have an older electric Oral B. It would scratch the terter a lot every time. After only 2 or 3 weeks there was absolutely nothing left to scratch on this new brush! The brush took care of that. Every time I brush my teeth I feel like I just left the dentist's office. This is the only feature of this brush. If you think it's expensive and not worth it, I encourage you to think again. Keeping your teeth this clean will save you a lot of money over time. I do not regret buying this brush. We only have one bite. I want to keep mine for the rest of my life.
