Weak wires are good for kitchen utensils and gadgets

Bought my first in October 2020. It says it will cut several different elements, but I've decided to only use it for spam. It wasn't used heavily for 6-8 months, maybe once or twice a month before it broke. The fault was with one of the two "C" shaped lugs on the plastic frame that attaches the chrome wire section and allows it to pivot to the open/closed position. Yes, it will still work, but pressure is needed at this point to keep it in place and prevent straight cuts. As it slipped, it pulled on the wires while you pushed down to cut. More trouble than it was worth, so I gave up. Bought a second one in September 2021. It held up after the third use. Again, I only use it for spamming and I've always been slow when cutting. Two wires broke. I sent this one back for a refund and will not even try the spell a third time. It's hit or miss, if you get one the wires are tight, if they have play in them like this they're going to snap. So, get back to the knife or find a well-made cheese knife.
