Does not take long. Best in freshwater systems
Was easy to set up and use the first time for a long weekend camping trip. But on the next trip we were out for two weeks and the pressure gauge stopped working so we couldn't tell how much pressure was coming out. We tried it at 4 different campsites in those 2 weeks, so I know it's not the low water pressure.
