Decent light. Not very bright, but very diffuse, which is good for a desktop machine. The PROBLEM is that it doesn't have a cord at all, just a hole in the back for a 3/8" NM cable gland. That's an electrical cord. It runs in your walls to light up junction boxes and outlets. If you're using this for using a desk, it really needs to have a 6-foot or more cord to connect it to the outlet.Ordinary homeowners don't want to pull out cords stripping tools and plumbing pliers wires and compression fittings.And it doesn't have double grounding, so it actually needed one Ground wire to be safe and most homeowners have cords with only two wires (lamp cord) Handy you can safely install this but if you want the light to just plug into an outlet BUY SOMETHING ELSE.
