Like most moms, I order a size up because kids grow fast and clothing is expensive. My son has 3t to 4t. I ordered a 4t and it fits like his other 4t items, maybe a little more. Colors are bright. Zipper is a little flimsy for the price (I don't think it lasts as long as a sweatshirt). In addition, it is very thin. How to see through thin ones. It's more like a long-sleeve zip-up shirt. We're in California so it suits our purpose well. My son fell in love with it and refused to take it off so I could wash it after I put it on to make sure it fit. Very soft. Sale!
