Review on 🎸 LEKATO Wireless Guitar System: 70-Channel UHF Transmitter & Receiver for Electric Guitar and Bass by Linda Salinas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for practice. Bad for concerts. Terrible for the record.

So I was quite skeptical about this wireless system. After all, high-end wireless systems from Line 6 and Boss sell for over $200, while an entry-level Shure system costs twice as much. But for the price I figured I'd give it a try and if it sucks I'd just return it. It's not trash. Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect. It's not even great. There is a significant loss in sound quality compared to a straight cable. Now and then I've experienced sudden signal drops, which would be totally unacceptable in a concert. I have a feeling the yoke could potentially break if I bend it the wrong way. And while this isn't a problem for me, this may not work if you have active pickups. And some of these claims are a little exaggerated. There's battery life. not quite as advertised. Although I haven't tested 70 devices working at the same time, I will say that getting 70 devices to work together is absolutely impossible. The UHF band is not that empty. But one or two? Of course. As mentioned above, I would never use them for live performance or recording. But in practice it's not bad! Just turn them on and they connect to each other and now I don't have to worry about cables anymore. I have only minor complaints about the sound quality through the practice amp and the delay is imperceptible to me. For practice, they replaced my regular cable. It's just more convenient.
