Good device to connect a guitar to an amp wirelessly

The wireless transmitter and receiver were already paired so all you have to do is plug in and turn on the device to get it working. It has a green light to indicate if pairing was successful. I use a Spark with my amp and so far it's working well and the battery life is as advertised. You may have to turn the volume on the guitar higher than normal to get the tone through. The transmitter is compact so you won't notice it when plugged into the car and won't affect the weight. I wish it came…

It compresses your signal, and not necessarily well

Everything works as it should and there is only a little background noise (unavoidable). The only real problem is that due to the way UHF transmission works, the device needs to compress your signal. This works well except when you play a REALLY loud note, in which case it will be completely cut off as if it were muted. I've only experienced this on my plain B and E strings, where the starting note attack was much louder than the sustained note. For many styles of music, and probably many…

Great performance and great price

I am in a worship band and have had an issue with my guitar cord tangling around my legs and ankles. I saw a review of the LEKATO WS-70 UHF Wireless Guitar System and decided to give it a try. I have used it for two surgeries and four church services and I am completely satisfied with it. Easy to use. No disruptions and departures. I hear no lag and the battery life is excellent. The range is excellent! There is no place in our temple that I cannot play. The only issue I can find is the green…

Treble reduced slightly

I've had some interference issues with 5.8GHz and 2.4GHz wireless devices because our house and neighbors are active Wi-Fi users. So I was looking forward to trying it out. I was a bit disappointed with the fact that the high frequencies are muted compared to other wireless devices I have. I particularly like the sounds that single coil pickups make, but this one definitely burst my bubbles in terms of the sound it produces. The reliability of the connection is definitely a big plus as it…

Great wireless system at an affordable price

I was looking for an affordable wireless system without sacrificing quality. My friend told me about this wireless LEKATO system and I decided to try it. To set it up I connected one end showing the guitar to my American Standard Telecaster and the other end to a Vox practice amp. You just press and hold the button in the center of the circle. Very easy to set up! There is no noticeable loss of tone compared to what I hear from my Fender Blues Junior. Even the effects don't seem to have any…

Works pretty well but I was surprised at the loss in sound quality.

This was my first experience with a wireless guitar system. This rating refers to a UHF-based system. I tested a wireless system against a high quality guitar cable. System speed was good with no noticeable lag, but I thought I heard a loss in audio quality. Don't get me wrong, the sound was still good and quite suitable for many live music situations. If I hadn't tested it, I might even have been happy with the wireless guitar system's performance, but I didn't like the idea of signal loss. I…

Good for practice. Bad for concerts. Terrible for the record.

So I was quite skeptical about this wireless system. After all, high-end wireless systems from Line 6 and Boss sell for over $200, while an entry-level Shure system costs twice as much. But for the price I figured I'd give it a try and if it sucks I'd just return it. It's not trash. Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect. It's not even great. There is a significant loss in sound quality compared to a straight cable. Now and then I've experienced sudden signal drops, which would be totally…

It's quality at a bargain price

First off I have to say that at $40 this is a great deal. You must buy this. Then the question becomes, which one do you want to use as a second wireless system? The first impression is good with some caveats. I bought the Swiff WS50 UHF and Lakato WS70 UHF radio systems. These products are two of the most common and established designs (WS50 and WS70) sold under many brand names at Revain. Both designs are good choices. You can't go wrong. Both designs add a hiss to the sound. The hiss of the…
