Review on Chemical Guys CLY_402 Medium Clay Bar by Sean Florence

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well, use half tone

Product works well. I have to say that the biggest risk is that you throw the clay in the dirt, after which the instructions say to throw it away. This is because now you may have sand in the clay scratching the car. Then break the latch in half and only use 1/2 at a time. Clay grease is soapy and therefore slippery, and it's very easy to drop a clay bar. So I would recommend that you form part of the bar into a ring around one of your fingers to hold it in place or make a grip to pull it out. Or when cleaning, put a rag or cardboard under you so that the clay does not get into the dirt. There is approximately a 75% chance that YOU will REMOVE THE BOARD. So get ready Also, if the car is too hot in the sun, the stick may melt a little and stick to the car, requiring some rubbing against the stick to remove the excess. You can do this in the sun, but you'll be using about twice as much lube. You can probably do a four-door sedan four times if you're careful with the lube (which probably runs out before the clay). If you see the clay getting pretty dirty you can cut off the dirty clay and throw it away Instead of pouring it back into the clay Overall a great product at a good price I used it on a new Tesla 3 before I got a great paint protection sealer applied.
